Strategic

At gmdesign, the question "WHY?" is the first and most important step in any project. Strategy explores the current market needs/trends and creates a scenario of future technological and sociological needs. Everything communicates and all communication includes a strategic component. From design strategy to communications planning our strategic efforts are action-oriented.

Design

Distilling a brand down to its core elements... a name, a logo, a simple graphic expression... is one of the most challenging aspects of our work in building businesses. In some projects, the name comes first... in others, the name and the logo are the start of a journey in building an overall brand story.

Creation of compelling and relevant print and communication pieces in the post-digital age is an ongoing challenge, and one we welcome as part of holistic brand/communications development. From overall creative direction to digital production, unique collateral material can cement a brand statement by creating a visual presence that stays with the consumer.

We also develop websites and digital marketing campaigns by assessing user needs and finding compelling, unique solutions for business and market opportunities.

Management

We co-ordinate and optimise the internal/external design process through the implementation of design thinking, with the aim of ensuring that the delivery of a project exceeds our clients’ expectations. Design management is effective from project initiation right through to completion. Our work includes advising on and preparing design briefs; developing and monitoring project execution plans and establishing communication routes and information management procedures. Maintaining open communication between all parties is fundamental in harnessing the best from creative collaborations.
